just got back from tam tams at mt royal...man..!! so cool! i guess that's why i like montreal..there were like 10 thousand ppl there..looked just like a florida beach, except there was no beach. just people playing frisbee and sun-tanning. there was a huge group of people gathered together at different parts fiercely playing their bongos/ african drums, and people just dancing and swaying to the beat. you could just feel the energy of the whole place and it was great! there was also a little bazaar going on selling all kinds of cool stuff...didn't really get to look at everything though....nvm, will go back next sunday!
anyways, didn't really get to blog yesterday cos was busy till bedtime. shall just write now then!
we still had our bikes in the morning yesterday, so we rode down to old montreal. i really really like that place. the whole feel of it..with it's cobblestone streets, european-styled buildings, street performers and terrace dining. there was a carnival happening at the waterfront..nothing much though..just loads of people blading, scooter-ing and paddle-boating. oh might do that next weekend!! =D well, after we returned our bikes, we decided to stay and walk around while the rest of the group went back. armed with a couple of ice-cream cones we just explored the place. really nice just walking slowly and taking everything in. nothing much after lah..went to watch the matrix reloaded! not bad, but i prefer X2.
