haven't written in a pretty long time..been so busy packing and moving outta my apartment, and leaving montreal...guess i didn't really feel like writing that much.
it's amazing how i actually managed to move everything over to vinny's place by cab. i only really started to pack the day before i was due to move out of my apartment, and fly back to vancouver. the day before, though i was busy packing, still wanted to spend as much with vinny. he was so funny..came over one night to help me with packing, and ended up falling asleep instead. guess it was nice just to have company..=) the night before i left, after i was sick of packing, we went out to old montreal for a really nice dinner. didn't really know which of the restaurants there were good, so we just walked around looking at all the menus. finally decided on this place called 'restaurant du vieux port', cos the ambience seemed really nice. we both had steaks which was pretty good. vinny also ordered 'grilled giant shrimp' as side dish, which cost $4. i was just musing that they might just give him 2 measly shrimps..haha...guess what..i was right!! there they were plonked on his plate in all the shrimpy glory...oh well..what do you expect for $4? hehehe...
we had actually bought tickets for the 10:30pm 'bruce almighty' show..so we had to rush all the way down right after dinner so that we wouldn't be late. pretty funny show...well, i guess jim carey always is. haha..yep..took a bus back to my place, and loaded like 2/3 of the stuff on a cab. so tired with the rush of activities of the whole day. oh yah, i actually even had an interview with the occupational therapy associate director in the morning for my application into the program..that's why i was tired too! went for dim sum brunch the next day..was just saying that i hadn't had dim sum at all the whole time i had been in montreal. so we just decided to go yum char. had bubble tea just before we ate, which wasn't that good an idea cos all the lil innocent pearls had filled up my small little tummy..=D ..hahaha..FINE....so it isn't that small. =(
anyway, we rushed back to my place after the meal to transport the rest of my stuff to vinny's place. was still trying to clear up the kitchen and stuff...crazy mad rush packing at this time. my flight was at 5:45pm, and it was already almost 4pm by the time we got in the cab to move the stuff over. we put my stuff down at his place, and rushed in the same cab to the airport. was really tired out with the whole packing and moving. kinda miraculous how we did it. was really stoned and tired at the airport, the fact that i wasn't gonna be able to see him for 3 whole months hadn't hit me till now. =*((( --miss you like crazy lah-- *sigh*
but guess it's ok to be back. my lil sister has been such a darling too. love her so much. she had been counting the days to my coming home. i almost had to change my return date cos i was supposed to have my interview on the 5/6th of june. my mom told me that she had been praying for me to be able to make it back on the 31st, and cried while praying. well, i guess God answered her prayer. =) been such a good girl. cooked instant noodles for me (supposedly her 1st time--but she ate up most of it anyway..haha), gave me some spa and pillow treatment while i was talking to vinny. guess she knew that i missed him too, cos she didn't really complain that i had been talking to him the whole time. such a sensible girl now..but then again, she is the noisiest thing i know. uuurgh...and she says she can't help it. haha...wonder how she can talk and talk and talk so much.
anyway, yep, guess i better not sit around the house too much bumming...have to plan out stuff i have to do!!
